Ricoh Canada Inc. Selects Business Resource Software to Strengthen National Sales Force
Insight for Sales Strategy Selected to Streamline and Integrate Sales Opportunities and for Online Training Course Curriculum
Austin, Texas – Business Resource Software, Inc. (BRS), which
develops and sells business planning products, today announced that its sales software program,
Insight for Sales Strategy®, has been
selected by Ricoh Canada, Inc. for its company-wide sales managers who oversee
direct sales managers and sales representatives throughout Canada. The
company has ordered the BRS software program for all of the company sales
managers and is now including it as part of their online training program
curriculum for new sales representatives.
Insight for Sales Strategy is ideal
for complex sales when interfacing with multiple decision-makers is necessary.
Critical results from the program include: 1) raising red flags identifying
barriers to a close; 2) recommending solutions to overcome obstacles; 3)
identifying strengths and weaknesses of each sale; and 4) construction of an
Excel-compatible pipeline worksheet of forecasted sales.
“Insight for Sales Strategy
streamlines the sales process, offers objective assessments much like an
outside observer would, and ensures that our experienced sales team asks all of
the right questions which, left unanswered, could torpedo a promising sales
opportunity,” said King Mahon, Vice President of Direct Sales, Ontario. “Our
sales managers now benefit from accurate forecasts based on critical
evaluations – not wishful thinking – and all sales rep forecasts are combined
into a single pipeline. It facilitates the sales process considerably and we
have seen an immediate ROI.”
Insight for Sales Strategy sells for
less than $230.00 and can be purchased through Business Resource Software at www.brs-inc.com; or go to http://www.sales-strategy-brs.com.

Texas CPAs Forge Alliance with Business Resource Software
Use of Business Software Seen as Valuable Tool for CPAs to Expand Services
Austin, Texas
Business Resource Software, Inc. (BRS), which
develops and sells business planning products, today announced a referral
partnership agreement with Dallas-based Texas Society of Certified Public
Accountants (TSCPA), one of the largest nonprofit professional organizations
representing CPAs in the nation with a membership in excess of 27,000.The
agreement calls for TSCPA to promote BRS products through its website, for
which it will receive a referral royalty for every product sale generated
directly through those efforts. BRS will, in turn, increase its customer base
of CPAs who are at the forefront of a growing trend of business service
providers adding strategic and business counseling to their repertoire of
services. The BRS/TSCPA agreement takes effect immediately. The website links
can be found in the Member Benefits, Software section at
www.tscpa.org,
which takes members directly to the BRS Center for Business Planning.
Many consulting businesses and
individuals use BRS products to acquire new business, conduct competitive
analyses, assess product strategies such as pricing and marketing, and to
develop business plans.
For example, CPAs can use the BRS
Quick Insight® software as a business development tool to conduct marketing
analyses for their clients or employers ; or, determine the proper pricing
strategy during times of economic uncertainty by utilizing Plan Write® for
Pricing. Applying an analytical assessment to an idea prior to product launch
can save companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in expenses and manpower,
and by using software products, such analyses can be conducted repeatedly and
economically.
BRS co-founder and VP of Marketing
Jerry Spencer notes that such diversification is leaping from being a
competitive advantage, into a business necessity.
“CEOs, executives, product managers
and directors are expected to be experts about their products or their
services,” said Spencer. “Most of them are not – nor should they be – experts
in all aspects of business or planning, such as product pricing, marketing, or
accounting. But with limited resources, or when time-to-market is critical and
decisions need to be made quickly, it is often prohibitive to look to several
outside experts for each of those areas. Their CPA is someone with whom they
have developed a relationship and that they trust, and now that relationship
can be expanded to guide other areas and operations of their business.
“It is a win-win for all parties,” Spencer said of the agreement.
Products offered by Business
Resource Software, which are designed to prove out business ideas, make them
better, and guide companies toward revenue, include Business Insight®, Quick
Insight®, Plan Write® for Business, Plan Write Expert Edition, Plan Write for
Pricing, Plan Write for Hi-Tech Marketing, Plan Write for Sales, and Insight
for Sales Strategy®. All products will be promoted under the agreement.

Business Resource Software Targets Consultants
Self-Employed Use Business Planning Software to Enhance Services in Increasingly Competitive Market
Austin, Texas – Business Resource Software, Inc. (BRS), which
develops and sells business planning products, today announced the availability
of consultant-specific software suite packages and website, www.brsplan.com.
The packages, geared toward building business for consultants and smaller
service providers, are based on the popular BRS “Build Your Business” concept
and contain selected combinations of its business planning, pricing and
marketing software. BRS products have long been used by both large and small
businesses, but the increasing number of self-employed workers marketing
themselves as business or marketing consultants has also increased the need for
greater differentiation and expanded expertise. The BRS software packages allow
consultants to counsel their clients through each strategic phase of their
business, increasing both business development success, and repeat business
from existing clients. The software can be used repeatedly, so that it pays for
itself quickly.
The website, www.brsplan.com,
uses a business wheel to depict phases within a business cycle that
interactively demonstrates how and which BRS products can be used during each
individual phase, from evaluating new product ideas and acquiring investment
capital, to implementing the sales strategy and closing the sale.
“My services as a business
consultant have been greatly enhanced since I started using BRS,” said Audra
Marrs of A D Marrs & Associates in Austin, Texas. “One of the greatest
features is the interactive quality of the software, so that as you go through
the process of answering questions, it presents you with additional scenarios
that you either have to act upon, or
suggests for consideration to possibly maximize results. It has been a very
impressive tool to use with my clients.”
The package suites consist of an Entrepreneur Package, and
